AGAPE  Fest

     Valentine’s Day Service on February 10, 2013
    
Power Verse:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your
                                  soul and with all your strength.” – Deuteronomy 6:5 (NIV)
 

      ORDER OF SERVICE:

1.     Snack

2.     Restroom Break/Warm Up & Countdown Music
“I Love My B-I-B-L-E” – Kids On the Move

3.     Welcome & Cool Rules
                         Be kind to your neighbor.  No pinching, biting, hair pulling, elbowing,
                                hitting, kicking, or name calling.
                           Stay in your seat.  Everyone needs to stay in your seat it's game time or
                                praise and worship time.

                           Listen to your leaders.  If you're not listening, you might miss something
                                important.

      We act out the Bible verse dramatically to make it more memorable to the kids.
       We usually have all the kids stand and shout the verse at the top of their lungs.

9.     Blacklight Puppet & Glowman

10.      High Energy Praise & Worship Song
“Make It Loud” – Yancy

11.      Power Verse Shout
      We act out the Bible verse dramatically to make it more memorable to the kids.
       We usually have all the kids stand and shout the verse at the top of their lungs.

12.      Boys vs. Girls Game
JELLO Race
Teams of two race to fill empty buckets with Jell-o using a spoon.  The catch is each team member has to hold their spoon in their mouth.   Garbage bags will be provided to protect clothes from being stained.

13.      High Energy Praise & Worship Song

14.      Power Verse Shout
       We act out the Bible verse dramatically to make it more memorable to the kids.
       We usually have all the kids stand and shout the verse at the top of their lungs.

15.      Power Verse Race
        The kids have a race to see who can find the Power Verse first in their Bibles.  
   They have to stand and read the verse (the younger kids get alot of help from
   the volunteers and leaders to even things out a little bit.  Who ever reads the
   verse first, wins a prize (usually a piece of candy).  We usually try to make
   sure all of the kids find and read their verse so they can have a piece of
   candy.


16.      Bible Statement
       While the kids still have out their Bible after the Power Verse Race, I ask
  them to stand, hold up their Bibles and shout the Bible Statement after me.


This is my Bible!
I am what it says I am!
I can do what it says I can do!
I can have what it says I can have!
My mind is alert!
My heart is open!
I am about to receive
A life changing message
And I will never be the same
In Jesus' name!

17.      Sermon

18.      Altar Service
         I play soft music and invite the children to come down for special
   prayer needs.
